Richard -- Original storyline which kept me constantly intrigued : With cleverly imagined scenarios, the seventh book in the Daisy’s Tea Garden Mystery series is constantly riveting. Even after so many murders for Daisy Swanson to assist in solving, the ideas that Karen Rose Smith comes up with in how situations play out in MURDER WITH ORANGE PEKOE TEA are original and kept me totally invested in what was taking place. Between family matters along with some problems troubling friends, Daisy has plenty to keep her mind occupied, and there is also a special man in her life to think about. Getting entangled in a local murder once more just adds to the list of topics that need contemplating, and she has to make certain her business keeps running smoothly, too. I always enjoy seeing how Daisy juggles all that life throws at her, and each event tackled comes across as very believable. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2021 )

It's beautiful and peaceful until murder pays a visit. Hiram Hershberger, a local lawyer, is murdered. Who killed him and why? Daisy has a special talent. She listens and is able to get information to help find the truth. I like Daisy. She has a good heart and really cares for people. Seeing her with family and friends makes me smile. Hiram was involved in a controversial case. He was representing the fertility clinic in a class action lawsuit. It was a tragedy. Couples lost their dreams of parenthood. Could one of them be the killer? The tension grows when the police hit a dead end. Then Daisy is attacked with a stun gun. The Killer is worried. Is Daisy getting too close? Jonas knows that Daisy is struggling to get control of her life. I understood his concern. It's never easy to realize how vulnerable we are. I love seeing Daisy and Jonas grow closer and form a strong bond. Karen Rose Smith did an excellent job balancing a loving personal relationship with a violent murder. I was taken by Felix, the dog Jonas adopted. He's a protector and scene stealer. I couldn't put this book down. I love The Daisy's Tea Garden series. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Laurie Pinnell -- I love this series : I love how the author weaves a story. The peripheral characters in the storylines feel like they have been there all along. They are residents of Willow Creek the same as the core characters are. There are so many people in this town that had reason to dislike the victim, okay maybe even hate the victim, but enough to kill him? Kraft -- Wonderful Cozy Series! : In the latest addition of Karen Rose Smith's A Daisy Tea Garden Mysteries, Daisy and her boyfriend, Jonas, are attending a fundraiser benefiting a new homeless shelter. While there, the fundraiser is interrupted by a protest lead by masked people. Later, when the attorney for the lead protester is found dead, Daisy investigates . There are some red herrings in this one, as well as several good suspects that would want to see the attorney dead namely a woman whose hope for a child are dashed by an accident at the fertility clinic the attorney represented and Eli, who left the Amish community with the help from the victim. Daisy is a thoughtful and caring person, she enjoys people and helping in the community. When another murder disrupts their small town Daisy can't help herself and neighbors and friends that know she's helped before can't help but share with her.
